About the Product: Butterhead is a green lettuce with loose leaves. It has flat, smooth, succulent leaves. Some varieties have heart-shaped leaves while others are more rounded. Red varieties are also available. It is known for its sweet flavor and tender texture.
Weight of one head: 170g approx.
Benefits: Butter lettuce is low in calories but high in essential nutrients. A 100g serving contains just 13 calories, and is virtually fat free. It contains around 95% water, so it can help you stay hydrated, and may also aid weight loss.
